We are struggling with the loss of my mother-in-law, Rita Wilson.  She passed away in March.  She died from breast cancer that had spread to her lungs.

In other news, the kids are growing up.  I’ll post pictures soon I hope to update everyone.  Megan is now sporting a very short do!  I know… crazy, right?  But she wanted it.

What can I say… they are 5!

And can you believe we have WILD ANIMALS in the house? There have been sightings of a Cheetah, and a Frog!

Updates… let’s see.

Mark and Megan were extremely unhappy at the small Christian school we had them enrolled in last year. They begged, and we decided to move them to the nearby public elementary school. If they struggle there, I will probably homeschool, but they want to give the school a try. So we’ll see. I’m very sad at the trouble the kids had this year, but perhaps it will work out in the end.

Abby and Erin will be in the 4 year preschool. They’ll be going to school everday from 8-12. Wow. Almost long enough for a nap! Just kidding. So I’m seriously going to be thinking about jobs, and especially the following year when they are in Kindergarten full time. I think I’ll cry when my babies leave the house for all day!

On a silly note, our dog has been a source of interest. She swallowed a ROCK (yes, rock) this year and had surgery to remove the intestinal blockage it caused. She has made herself sick a few other times, but this was the first time it blocked everything. Yikes! Tonight I walked out on the porch and she was sitting in the lawn hair just like she owns it. She wasn’t very impressed that she had to get down.

I have been APPALLINGLY lax at taking pictures of the kids.  I’ll work on that.

Ralph Eugene “Gene” Kline 65, of, Russell, Pa., died on June 30, 2008 at Warren General Hospital, following a brief onset of cancer.

Gene was born December 29, 1942, in Russell City, Pa., the son of the late Edgar and Vera Moyer Kline.

Gene was employed as an Allstate Insurance Agent for 35 years in Warren. He served his community with an open heart and a generous smile.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his seven grandchildren. Most of all, Gene found great passion through sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with friends and strangers alike.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Conners, whom he married on June 25, 1966 in Kane, Pa.; two daughters, Heidi Kline Wilson and her husband, Steve, Russell, Pa. and Sherri Kline Cabascango and her husband, John, Clayton, NC; seven grandchildren, Mark, Megan, Abigail, and Erin Wilson, Esteban, Santiago, and Cristian Cabascango; two nephews; and two nieces.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Edgar Kline; and two sisters, Ermajane Kline and Mary Kline Petruney.

A memorial service will be held at the Praise! Fellowship Church, 315 Rt. 62 North, Russell, Pa., at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2008. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators World Wide Project Fund, 1800Wycliffe.
